Reliance Water Heater Liquid Propane Gas Control Valve and Thermostat Compatible with Major Brands
This part is designed specifically for propane water heaters and will only function with propane-powered heaters. The electronic gas control valve features an LED status indicator that monitors the system's operation and service diagnostics.
The PROPANE gas control, located within the hot water heater, utilizes a thermopile to generate the necessary power to operate the electronic gas control without requiring an external power source.
This product has been certified by a third party to comply with the "Safe Drinking Water Act" requirements for low lead content in potable (human consumption - drinking and cooking) and non-potable water applications (non-human consumption).
The thermostat is compatible with all A.O. Smith branded heaters, including A.O. Smith, State Water Heaters, American Water Heater, and Reliance. Please note that the part may be labeled as RESIDEO due to a corporate acquisition, but it is still the correct part.
